So it’s back to Square One for your entertainment. Is there anyone I’d recommend?

Well, first of all, please understand that I never get to see other DJs perform. 
So I'm probably the last person who can evaluate other folks' work! 

That said, there are basically two types of DJs -- those who work for themselves and those who are with entertainment agencies (who usually have a staff of DJs). 

The first group includes fellows who, like myself, have been around awhile and are on the “A-list” of the restaurants and function rooms.  We tend to book more quickly -- and generally charge more.

The other group has young or experienced DJs who just happen to be new to the area. 
Some are very good; some are still learning. They tend to charge less.

Because photographers eventually work with almost every DJ, they can often suggest a talented person not yet on his own or listed in the Yellow Pages. That's why you’ll find all those phone numbers on the References page of this website. They not only can evaluate me, but also the other DJs you may be considering.

The photographer you’ve already booked may have some names for you.  So might the manager at the function room you’ve reserved.
