Building Your iCapsule

Tell us the event.

Surprising someone with an iCapsule?  Then write a one-sentence description of that person's event or accomplishment.  For example:

  • "Taylor Wilson weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces."
  • "Martha Reznak and Abe Biegelmeier tied the knot."
  • "Olivia Espinoza graduated from Chatham High."
  • "The Royer Animal Hospital opened for business."
  • "Joey Darpino led Scaturro Sand & Gravel to the bowling championship."

IMPORTANT:  Please phoneticize all proper names.  Bill Stephens needs to know if "Royer" is pronounced "ROY-er" or "Roy-YAY".

Tell us when it happened.

We'll need the month and year.  Please make sure it falls within the Time Capsule era (January 1960 to December 1993).

Personalize the ending.

That way, we can wrap up the iCapsule with a personalized greeting.  For example:

"This is Bill Stephens.  Congratulations, Mary & Mike, on your 20th anniversary!"

If you've got those wedding vows — or whatever — on tape, send us a cassette (or e-mail a .wav or mp3 file) and we'll add that sound to the clues.

Or if your gang can supply a "Happy Birthday, Susie!" shout, we can include it with the personalized greeting at the end of your iCapsule.

Send ONLY the sound you want us to use (20 seconds max).
We'll return your cassette with your iCapsule CD.
